The Spanish wine region of Priorat might be small in size, but the drop it produces is big on taste. Since the 1980s, Álvaro Palacios has been credited for putting the area back on the viticulture map, with this 2019 vintage boasting high-pitched aromas of red fruit liqueur, pipe tobacco and spice. Closing with harmonious tannins that add gentle grip, it's best paired with roast lamb.
