Château de Beaucastel is a wine producer based in Courthézon in the northern Châteauneuf-du-Pape region of the southern Rhône, with its estate dating back to 1549. The land passed through the family of founder Pierre de Beaucastel until 1909, when it came under the control of scientist Pierre Perrin. Run today by Perrin's grandsons, the latest offering from the vineyard is this 2019 vintage, which boasts a spicy essence and an earthy, rich texture.
