If you're after a sweet wine to enjoy with dessert, you can't do much better than Chateau d`Yquem - in viticulture circles, it's considered the best of its kind. Fermented in oak barrels and left to mature for up to three years, it's intensely opulent when young, developing in complexity and richness with time. In the 2014 vintage, notes of lemon sherbert, orange zest and shaved ginger offer great depth, while ‘flakes' of white chocolate offer a tender finish.
