Château Montrose is one of the leading low-impact winemakers in Bordeaux, with over 15 years of improving biodiversity and vineyard health energy use, while capturing CO2 from fermentation to turn into bicarbonate of soda. In the case of the 2014 vintage, its black-red colour and brooding nature give it a sense of complexity, with the concentrated nose of blackcurrant, liquorice and mint giving way to an intense palate of dark cherry for an overall richness that's characteristic of the label.
