The Château Pape Clément has one of the oldest documented histories of any Bordeaux vineyard, having been designed by Bertrand de Goth, an archbishop who became Pope Clement V, hence the name of this property. This 2016 Pape Clément boasts an attractive nose of red berry fruit, cassis, black cherry, blackcurrant and spice, with taut acidity and a lift at the end.
