Thanks to a combination of imagination and confidence, Copenhagen-based distiller Empirical has managed to create new spirits based on taste, not type. The Plum, I Suppose is a spirit inspired by co-founder Lars' favourite dessert, a culinary experience so delightful that he bottled the taste of marzipan, cherry bakewell, almond and plums, tempered by the earthy hints of pilsner malt, pearl barley and koji, into this unique beverage, with a moniker inspired by none other than poet Robert Frost.
