Peter Carl Fabergé created the first of the eponymous House's eggs in 1885 as an Easter gift. Over the years, the intricate hand-engraving and traditional techniques cemented the objets d'art as covetable pieces, leading to their inclusion in Fabergé's fine jewellery collection. The Heritage Egg necklace is crafted from opalescent guilloché enamel and 18-karat rose gold, embellished with 15 brilliant-cut diamonds.
