Hudelot Baillet takes time to perfect each bottle of wine. Its grapes are destemmed rather than crushed and given an eight-day maceration before being punched down - the Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vigny 2018 is a product of this process. A result of both Chambolle Musigny's chalky soil vineyards and the extensive extraction of tannins, the sensory experience of this Pinot Noir is exquisite, note the opulent nose of vivid florals and earthy notes before the presence of dark berries.
