Established in the Rhône Valley on the border of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Le Clos du Caillou prides itself on its biodynamic agriculture, at the vineyard, all grapes are handpicked and undergo fermentation (the foundation of winemaking) in the way nature intended - without commercially produced yeasts. This process allows for rich and intense reds like this 2011 vintage. As you pour it into your glass, you're met with aromas of charcoal, barbecue, herbs and red berries, while a first sip reveals fruity notes that are fresh and spicy.
