The single vineyard of Masseto is located along the Tuscan coast, its vines consist entirely of Merlot, producing an opulent taste before being aged in medium-toast French oak barrels for a year. Its 2011 vintage boasts aromas of red currant, tobacco and oak that complement its full-bodied taste, delivering black cherries, blueberry extract, liquorice and black pepper on the palate.
