Founded in 1890 by the Artacho and Carreras families, Bodegas Riojanas is one of the thirteen centenary Rioja wineries with its origins dating back to 1799. Defined by an intense cherry-red hue, the 1968 Monte Real Gran Reserva boasts a wealth of aromas that are gradually released into the glass. Tasting notes of black cranberries, sweet spices and liquorice create a fine, juicy palate, while firm tannins and a notable acidity lean into the tempranillo grape's renowned spicy profile.
