Product Detail

Monte Real's current vineyard is over 40 years old, located on clay-limestone soils, resulting in a higher concentration of colours and primary aromas of tempranillo in the Rioja Reserva 125th Anniversary 2010. The whole production process is carried out meticulously, with the grapes reaped by hand and fermented in new oak barrels. After macerating for 30 days, it's aged in new American oak barrels, resulting in great structure, concentration and balance. Sweet yet tannic, it's a beautiful accompaniment to grilled meat, big game, cured cheeses or even rich chocolate desserts.
