First founded in 1961 through the marriage of Jacques Rossignol and Mado Trapet and now run by their sons, Pinot Noir-producer Rossignol-Trapet takes a bio-dynamic approach to its winemaking, using organic fertilisers and natural herbicides in its vineyards. Its Chambertin Grand Cru 2013 holds a powerful aroma of flowers and black fruits that contrasts against a surprisingly fresh palate where strawberry and blueberry muddle with hints of oak.
